Let’s learn how to play this one player solitaire game.

What You need for Flower Garden

To play, you need a standard deck of cards with the jokers removed. You will also need some table room.

Playing The Flower Garden Card Game

To start, you need to make six fans of six cards each. These are the flower beds. You place the rest of the cards in a line at the bottom of the game, face up. These cards are the bouquet.

You can only take the most right card in a bed. On the other hand, you can use all of the cards in the bouquet.

The goal is to get all the aces free and set aside in their own piles.

Next, you will try to stack the 2, then 3 and so on, on top of the ace that matches the suit. You can add to stacks without needing to be in line with the other stacks. For example, if you have the ace of hearts in a pile you can place the 2 and the 3 on it even if you haven’t started the spades pile.

You may move a card from either the end of a bed or the bouquet to the end of a bed.

You may also move a sequence from the end of a bed to the last card of a different bed. All cards and sequences must match the suit and be in correct order with the smaller number being on the most right side. For example if bed 1 has the 5 of clubs on the right side, bed number 2 has the 6 of clubs and the bouquet has the 4 of clubs, a player could move the 5 to the six and then the 4 to the 5. When the 7 of clubs opens up, you can move the sequence of 6, 5, 4 to the 7.
