Holiday Gift List 2020

With the Christmas season just around the corner, we have put together our Holiday Gift List for 2020, full of games that would make great gifts this year!

Hoot Owl Hoot

This game is good for players 4 and up. It is a co-operative game where players try to get all the owls into the nest before the sun rises.  There are two levels of play to grow with kids.

Let’s Go Fishin

Who doesn’t love carnival games? With this game you can bring the carnival home without paying the carnival prices! Players use a fishing rod to fish for as many fish as they can get. This game will surely keep kids 4 an up entertained for a long time.

Walk Like a Chicken

This preschool game combines hid and go seek, treasure hunt, memory and physical activity all with silly fun. Players have to act out what card they are looking for as they hunt through the hidden cards. Sounds like a perfect fit for full of energy preschoolers.

Sling Puck Game

This fast action game has players trying to sling shot their pucks through the opening to score points

Bugs in the Kitchen

This is a fast moving maze game where there is a bug loose in the kitchen. A real robotic bug that moves quickly through the maze. Players take turns move the walls of the maze to capture the bug and gain points. This exciting game is for kids 6 and up and with few parts to loose is sure to be a hit.

Shut the Box

This dice game is great for math practice. Players roll dice, add up the pips then shut the numbers on the box that add up to the same amount. The player with the smallest amount of numbers left open is the winner. This game is good for any kids old enough to add up to 12.

LLAMA

This new card game, players have choices to make. You can play a card, freeze your hand or pick up and hope you can play. The goal is to be the player with the least amount of markers. LLAMA is for kids 8 and up.

Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza

With a name like that, this game has to be full of crazy fun. Players race against each other to slap a match between what was spoken and what was played. Fun, load and a crowed pleaser, this game is for 8 and up.

Impact

This one is prefect for adding a little science into game night. Players roll the element dice to make matches. It’s easy to learn and quick to play. For ages 8 and up.

Abandon All Artichokes

This is an adorable looking game where players build their deck and try to put all their artichokes in the compost pile. Vegetables never looked like so much fun. The game is rated for kids 10 and up.

Gravity Maze

This is a great one player, logic game. Players set up the maze as shown on a card then have to figure out how to place other blocks to make the marble travel to the right destination block. 

Throw Throw Burrito

You guessed it this is the first dodge ball card game with a soft squishy burrito. Kids are sure to loves this game. The game is set for ages 14 and up.

Bears

In this dice game, players match up dice to either tents, runners of guns. When the last dice is left either the bear attacks or campers are safe. Points are awarded on how many campers you have safe. Fun for kids aged 7 and up, as along as they can handle the idea of being eaten by a bear.

Sequence

In this classic game, players try to get a line on a board using cards in their hands. Fun for the whole family. You can read the review here.

Pictionary

The original drawing game has moved into the new digital world where you can draw in the air and have your drawings show up on the TV. 

Scattergories

The game that will have you thinking of all and nay word that starts with N or E. 

Carcassonne

This tile laying game is easy to play and has many expansion packs. It also has a junior version for kids who are not yet ready for the original game. You can read the full review here.

Ticket to Ride

It seems everyone loves this game where you build your railway across the USA and Canada to complete missions. It also comes in a junior version.

Codenames

This relatively new classis has players guessing what word is associated with the clue given. You can read the review and see that variations here.

5 Seconds Rule

How many dog bread can you name is 5 seconds. Sounds easy but it’s actually challenging in a fun, frustrating way.

Tenzi

Players each get 10 dice then on the go call race to see who can be the first to get all their dice showing the same number. This game has lots of variations and as an added bonus ensures you have enough dice for any game you want to play!
