Why Games for Student Gifts?

We think that games are the perfect end of year student gifts. Why? First, games are fun. Every kid has a game that they love so adding to their collection of games is an easy decision.

Second, these games are great for screen free time. They encourage connection with friends or family as well as making awesome memories. They can also be played for years to come—maybe even kept for the next generation.

Third, games foster critical thinking as well as math and reading skills. Plus they’re so much fun kids don’t even notice that they’re adding, subtracting, thinking!

Fourth, our game collections are ready to print. All you have to do it print, cut if you’d like, hole punch and tie them together. Add a deck of cards, some dice and a funny pen and you’re all set! Of course, the games stand alone if that fits your budget better.

Best of all, this gift will be used. And they’ll have fun with it plus they’ll think of you when they’re having fun—remembering you and thinking positively about school! A win every where you look!

What You Need for Gifts for Student Games

As we mentioned, all you need is our game packs. You can give just one set to make a nice gift, or you can bundle more than one for a more robust gift for your students. We recommend printing on card stock, hole punching and clipping them together with a book ring like these. You could also laminate the cards if you prefer.

To add an extra touch, you could buy dice in bulk in fun colors (Canadians) and add them to a small Ziplock bag with the cards. The game packs only need three dice so this makes it easy and doable.

For the card games you can also buy cards in bulk like these (Canadian). Or you could visit your local second-hand shop. These stores always have tons of playing cards for sale—just make sure that the decks are complete before gifting them. Again, we recommend adding them to a small bag and clipping the bag to the game instructions or putting the cards in a bag with the instructions.

For the pen and paper games, you could find some fun cool pens like these (Canadian) to attach. Kids love different kind of pens, think scented or different colours, glitter pens or ones that change colours. If you choose to laminate the cards, you can add a wipe off or washable marker with them so kids can play over and over.

The best part? Our game packs come with three covers choices. The first says have a great summer for maximum speed. There’s a second one that is a summer frame with lots of blank space to add your own personalized note. The last one is for if you want to double dip and use the cards for a party.

What Ages are These Summer Gifts for Students For?

Card and dice games are great for all ages, but we know that older kids outgrow some games, so we created packs for different ages. We see the first packs for kids as young as the kindergarten group up to maybe mid-elementary. The second packs are for mid to upper elementary kids. Of course, this is subjective and you know your students better than anyone. Plus, kids love to revisit games that they once loved. They also grow into more complex games too.
