What You Need

To play the Halloween dice game Boo, you will need two dice plus one dice for every player. So if there are four players you will need 6 dice. To make it easier to keep track of, investing in a set of colored dice is a great idea. You will also need some candy. Yep, candy. Three pieces of candy per player or more is ideal.

Set up

First, place the candy in a pile in the center of the playing area.

Next, decide who will go first. (A high dice roll is a good decider.)

After that, give everyone their single dice. The dice pair goes to the player who will play first.

Playing Halloween Dice Game Boo

To start Boo, everyone rolls their single dice. This is their number—for now. It is okay if there are players with the same number.

Next, the first player rolls the pair of dice. If he has rolled a pair, either with the dice pair or by matching his individual dice with one of the pair, he can take a candy from the center pile.

The white player has rolled a 5 to match with her individual dice to ear a candy

However, if another player has a number that is rolled, she can then steal the candy by yelling Boo!

The black and orange players both yelled Boo for the match of 2

If player A also calls Boo, then they both roll their individual dice. The player with the highest number wins the candy.

Both players now have new individual dice numbers. If there are more than one player who has a number rolled and who calls Boo at the same time, then everyone who called Boo rolls their individual dice.

In the event of a tie, the tied players roll again until someone has a higher roll.

Winning Halloween Dice Game Boo

The game of Boo is over when the last piece of candy is taken from the center. The player who has the most candy is the winner.

Boo Variation

When a player challenges another player, that is he calls Boo when she has rolled a match with his, and then rolls a higher number, he takes a candy from her personal stash.
