A blogger friend let me know about a fun new dice game called Bank. You can download an app to play but it’s just as easy to play without it and it might even be more fun with our score sheet (more on that later.)
This is a press your luck kind of game like Pig, Shut the Box and 10, 000. It involves more than just luck and has you on pins and needles the whole game.
Let’s get into the rules, how to play and where you can get your free Bank Dice Game scoresheet.

What You Need For Bank Dice
You will need two dice and something to keep score with. You can get our Bank scoresheet in our Fun Library (see the black box to get your password). For the dice, you can play with just two dice or have everyone have their own pair of dice.
We love to play where everyone has their own dice in their favorite color. You can shop dice here; Canadians here.
How to Play Bank Dice Game
To start, the first three rolls of the game have different rules. In the first three rolls, if a sum of 7 is rolled then the Bank number becomes 70 (or plus 70). The second rule change is when doubles are rolled. In the first three rolls they count only as the numbers on the dice (more on that later).

All other rolls are counted as the sum of the two dice. These sums become the Bank number. Everyone’s roll counts toward the Bank number and it grows with each roll.
After the first three rolls are done, if doubles are rolled then the Bank number is doubled. When a sum of 7 is rolled then the bank loses all of its points and the round is over.

At any point in the round, you may call out “Bank.” At this point, you will score the amount that is in the Bank. You are now out of the round.
When all players have banked their amount, the round is over. Also, if a sum of 7 has been rolled the round is over. Any player who hasn’t banked gets a score of 0 for the round.

The score from the current round is added to any pervious score and a new round starts with a blank Bank.

We created a score sheet to easily keep track of the Bank number and each player’s score. (You can get yours in the Fun Library.)
Winning Bank Dice
The player with the highest score after 20 rounds is the winner.
