How to Play the Halloween Game Bat Dice

Halloween and dice games are a fan favorite here at Family Game Shelf so there should be no surprise that we have another Halloween dice game for you today. And today’s game is Bat Dice.

Bat Dice is just the latest dice game that we’ve created for Halloween. You can also learn how to play Trick or Treat, Vampire Dice, Witch’s Brew and of course our Halloween Whacky Putt game, just to name a few.

Halloween fun is in the air with these games. Let’s get to the rules and teach you how to play.

What You Need for Bat Dice

You will need one dice per player. We love to play so that everyone has their own colour of dice. Everyone’s rolling at the same time in this game so different coloured dice not only makes it more fun but also helps keep track of whose dice is whose. You will also need a scoresheet.

Playing Bat Dice

First, you need to remember that bats use echolocation to help them find things.

To play, everyone rolls their dice at the same time. You are looking to find a matching bat using your echolocation. If you match another player, then you high five because you’ve found a match. Each of you get one point.

If there are more than two players that match, only the first pair to see and high five get the point.

There can be more than one matching pair per roll.

After the points are scored, everyone rolls again and tries to find another match.

Winning Bat Dice

The first player to make 10 matches and get 10 points wins the game.
