Through the years, we have collected quite of few golf games to play on game night. It’s estimated that 66.6 million people worldwide hit the links and you might think that we’re in that number. The truth is, we’re not golfers. Now, we love a good game of mini golf (as you’ll see later). That said, my mother loved her golf (really it was the only thing that trumped her grandchildren.)
So if you love golf or you just love card and dice games, this Big List of Golf Game is for you. There really is something for everyone in this list. And, Mom, this one is for you.

Card Golf Games
Golf
The first Golf Game we have is simply called Golf. This is an easy to play card game that kids and adults like equally. We have rules for 6 holes, 8 holes, 9 holes, 18 holes and a bucket’s worth of other variations. See all the ways to play here.
Play Nine
The card game Play Nine is similar to the Golf card game but with super cute graphics and special cards. It’s worth checking out as again kids and adults like this one. Read the review here. You can get your copy here; Canadians here.
Golf Solitaire
What’s a golfer to do when there’s no one around to play? Dig out the card for a round of Golf Solitaire! This simple to learn game hit the spot. Learn how to play here.

Dice Golf Games
Golf Dice
Our first dice gold game is another game called simply Golf. This game is the easiest to learn of all of golf games. You need two dice and a knack for rolling doubles. Quick and fun, this one is a family favorite. Learn how to play here it’s prefect for a quick game.
Straight Golf
This dice game is a little more challenging than the one above. You will need six dice and hope you can get your dice in a row with the least amount of rolls. It’s easy enough that everyone can play and have a great time. Get the rules here.
Whacky Putt Mini Golf
Ah, now this is our pride and joy. As I told you, we love a good round of mini golf, especially the courses with cute holes. Growing up we had a course close to us that had a flower hole, a chess hole and even one where you had to hit your ball through a giant shark mouth. The memories I have of those golf games inspired me to create a dice game with cute, themed holes. I called it Whacky Putt for its fun and whacky sense of fun.
The original Whacky Putt was so much fun that I created more seasonal holes—Christmas, Halloween, Easter, St Patrick’s Day… just to name a few.
Kids especially love this game as you get to tap into your silly side with actions and new goals for each hole and anyone can win. Check out the game here and visit the Family Game Shelf shop to get your copy and to see all the variations we have.
GOLO
Now this golf dice game is for the serious golfer. The game comes with a fist full of specialized dice and score sheet. Your goal is to roll par or under par for each hole. You can even “play” the most famous courses in the world. Non-golfers can play too but the golfers will really like it. Check out GOLO here. You can get your copy here.
Par 24
Like GOLO, this game is for players a little more serious about golf. You are playing to get a score of Par 24 or fewer. A non-golfer can enjoy this game alongside her golfer friend, but there is some golf lingo you need. Check out Par 24 here.
Par 4
Now the last dice game we have is Par 4. This golf dice game is a little whacky to start, but simple and fun once you figure out how to move. All you need is the game board and a single dice to play. Kids love seeing their mover move up and down the fairway. Learn how to play Par 4 here and get your free game board in the Fun Library. (You can get your password by signing up in the black box.)
Mini Golf Card Game
The Mini Gold card game is a challenging one player game although you can easily play with more than one player. The cards become the course and you have to figure out the best way to get to the next hole. Fun and challenging! Learn how to play here.
The Ninetieth Hole
If you’re a golf enthusiast, or know someone who is, then this list is for you. I’m sure you were able to find something for everyone in this list and we hope you have a great time play, just watch out for anyone calling “Four!”.
If you need some new cards shop here, Canadians here. And if you need dice shop here, Canadians here. We love to play with everyone having their own colour of dice. Be sure to visit our Family Game Shelf shop here for Whack Putt and tons of other games for the whole family.
