What Do I Need for the Six By Six Card Game?
You will need one deck of cards with the jokers removed. You will also need some table space. If you need some new cards, and who doesn’t love a new deck of cards? Check out the selection here; Canadians here.
How Do I Play the Six by Six Card Game?
To start, deal six cards face up, side by side. Now, deal five more cards on top of each card so that you can see all of the cards. The rest of the cards are your stockpile.

To paly, you can move any card from the bottom of the rows to a place where it fits. When an ace becomes available, you place it above the card piles as a foundation pile. The goal is to get all the cards into their matching foundation pile going from ace to king.

You can move any card to a card that is one above them in rank. For example, you can move a 4 to a 5, a queen to a king and so on. The suits do not need to match. You can also move sequences of cards as one. For example, if you have the 3, 4 and 5 and a 6 becomes available, you can move the cards from 5 to 3 to the six.
When all available moves have been made, you can flip over the first card from the stockpile. You may now place it any where that it fits on the grid or foundation piles. If there is no spot available for it, then you place it on the bottom of the pile at the farthest left of the game.

At this point, you can make any move that is legal on the grid. Ohterwise, flip over the next card in the stockpile and see where it fits. If it can’t be placed anywhere, it too goes at the bottom of the far left pile.
Play continues until either all the cards are in their foundation piles or all the cards from the stockpile have been placed and there are no other moves.

How Do I Win Six by Six?
You win if you can move all the cards their foundation piles.

Game Variations
There are two rules changes that I have found. First, when you are dealing out the cards, any ace that shows up is set above the grid as the foundation pile. It is now replaced by a new card from the deck.
The second rule change is that you can move only sequences of the same suit.
