How to Play the Lazy Dice Game

Ah, you know those lazy days of summer (or winter or fall or spring)? You know the ones where you want to hang around, be with the ones you love and just…be lazy? Well, we created the Lazy Dice Game for days just like that. It’s prefect for a hot summer afternoon.

What You Need

It wouldn’t be a lazy game if you needed a lot of complicated things, so you only need two dice per player, and something to keep score with if you like. We like to play where everyone has their own colour of dice.

How to Play Lazy Dice

To start, everyone rolls their two dice. Any player who has rolled a sum of 7 or higher isn’t lazy enough and is out of the round. The player with the lowest sum wins the round and gets a point.

If all players have a sum of 7 or more, then no one gets a point and everyone rolls again.

When a player rolls a double 1, then they are the laziest and gets 2 points. On the other hand, when a player rolls a double 6, they are by far not lazy enough and get all of the points wiped out. This player now has to start over at 0.

When there is a tie for the laziest, then all tied players roll one die and the lowest roll wins the point.

The first player to 9 points (because we were too lazy to go to 10) wins the game.
