What You Need for the Black Hole Card Game
You will need a deck of cards with the jokers removed and some table space. If you need some new cards (and who doesn’t?) you can shop here; Canadians here. The Bicycle Stargazer cards would be perfect for this game!
Setting Up the Black Hole Card Game
Deal 17 fans of three cards each, you can set this up in a circle if you wish to really get into the space theme. The last remaining card is the black hole. Place this above the fans or in the middle of the circle. You’re now ready to play.

How to Play the Black Hole
The single card is the Black Hole and you can place any card on it as long as it is either one more or one less in rank than the top card. For example if the Black Hole is the 3 of clubs then you can place any 2 or any 4 on it. If you place a 2 on it you can then place any ace or any 3 on it.

You can place an ace on a 2 or king. Similarly, you can place a king on an ace or a queen. This is known as turning the corner.
You can only use the top card of each fan in the tableau. You will have to pay attention to where all the different cards are in the tableau and figure out the pattern that will let you place the most cards.

Winning the Black Hole Card Game
To win, you will need to place all the cards into the Black Hole.
